The Green Game Jam has ended: Thank You for taking part!

The 2026 Green Game Jam has come to a close. A big THANK YOU to all the developers who took part and to all of the players who enjoyed the new content added in support of coral reef and rainforest preservation.

This annual project by the Playing for the Planet Alliance does a fantastic job of bringing the games industry together to raise awareness and support for environmental conservation efforts around the world and we were thrilled to support those efforts this year.

Our game jam attracted a diverse group of games from across a range of genres. We had platformers, dress-up games, painting games, puzzle games, football games and more - each adding in new content themed around the coral reef and rainforests for players to enjoy. The content ranged from levels, to features, to mechanics and more. The full list of games can be found at the bottom of this blog.

So what is next? The top-performing game from the Poki community will be recognized for its contribution to the Rainforest Alliance and Oceana organizations. The announcement will be made alongside Playing for the Planet, who will be announcing the winners of their side of the Game Jam at the same time. So please wait a little while longer for the results to come out.

What we can reveal for now is that most participating games saw a nice increase in gameplays and earnings. The new page we created for the event received a lot of love with the amount of clicks and gameplays, some of the most across the whole platform during this period! Many of it came from returning users indicating that players liked the new themed content and continued to engage with it. It successfully brought players back to games they had previously enjoyed and they learnt something new about the environment.

Overall, we are thrilled with the results! The Green Game Jam is a great way to share a worthy cause with Poki’s players and we hope everyone who participated walked away feeling proud with what we all accomplished.
